Awesome location.10 seconds from the bus stop. extremely helpful staff . Nice & clean hostel with free wifi. Gool courtyard can have some beers &BBQ

Extremely basic hostel, but it's in a great location, and right opposite a police station, so security is fine. Also quite affordable compared to other private rooms in other hostels in NZ. Place felt dead with little atmosphere, it is off season tho.

Very nice hostel. Just outside the bus’s stop so quite convenient. Only 5min ( by foot ) from the lake. And 10min ( still by foot ) from geothermal park. People complain about the smell but it’s about the city not the hostel itself. Nice staff, nice “living room”, nice bedroom. Check-in starts quite early ( 1:00pm ). Had a good experience there, would come back 👌🏼
