Free Cerveza

Loved the overall vibes, great views and clean hostel. It could use more comfortable spots to sit around - the hammocks are great but get wet as soon as it starts raining. The toilets weren’t the best - didn’t smell great and lots of flies. But the rest was amazing, the food was really nice, the beds were comfy, the tents were clean, the lake is right there to jump into and the staff was very nice and helpful :) Loved the family dinner!

Really wanted to love this hostel. Great views, food was delicious, free paddle boarding was so fun and volunteers were great! However, bare in mind there is no kitchen, the tents get super damp if it’s raining and so so hot when it’s sunny, and there’s not loads of comfy places to chill outside of the main eating area especially when it rains.

if ur visiting the lake there’s no better place to stay than Free Cerveza! staff/ location really make this place - shout out to the amazing Danny, Georgie, Alex, Greer, Max, Camille, Jojo, Liv, Gabby, Sophie, Annie, Rudy, Maria & Has! Only downside - 10pm cut off - bar closes at 10pm then immediately quiet time which is odd - could do with a 30min window between bar closing and light out - also the american receptionist in the cap is extremely rude to staff & guests :( + food could be better
