Hi guys :)

We are Jenny, Fabien and Kawa our special receptionist, a cute Shiba Inu who will be happy to welcome you.

We have just opened One life Hostel in June 2024 after renovating the entire place.

We have also traveled in hostels and made One life Hostel while thinking how we would like to find a hostel : clean, confortable, with good vibes.

All of our furnitures are new, mattress not too hard, bed sheets, pillows etc…

Our goal is to make you feel like home with friends and family.

The hostel is located close to Chiang Mai old city.
You will find less than 5 minutes walk convenience store (7-11, Lotus), pharmacy, the famous and beautiful temple Wat Lok Moli and Chiang Phuak Gate Night Market (from 5pm) with many choices of local food.

On site you can find :

Many excursions like trekking in jungle, elephant sanctuary, day trip around the city, day trip in Chiang Rai.

Please let us know if you will arrive at the hostel after 20:00.
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash only.
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 24 hours before arrival.
6) Breakfast is not included.
7) NO smoking in Room, but have a smoking area in front of the building or on the rooftop.
8) We only accept guests 18 years old or older.
9) A deposit of 300 baht will be requested for the keys and will be returned to you upon check-out.
10) PEOPLE FROM OUTSIDE ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE BUILDING AFTER 8PM UNTIL 7:30
11)We turn off A/C everyday during the cleaning time between 11:00 to 14:00

Stayed 4 nights and loved the vibe here. Jenny and Fabian (and Kawa) were incredible hosts and always around to chat, share local tips, and make everyone feel included. The café/common area was a great place to meet people casually. The food was delicious and Jenny makes a really good coffee! Location was ideal, close to the Old City and night market. The beds were also super comfy - I would 100% stay again - Thank you guys

About Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is a city in northern Thailand, surrounded by mountains and adorned with ancient walls and moats. It was first founded in 1296 and served as the capital of the Lanna Kingdom up until 1558 when it was forced to surrender to Burmese rule. Chiang Mai has hundreds of astonishing Buddhist temples dating all the way back to the 14th and 15th centuries.

There are over 200 hostels in Chiang Mai to choose from, so there are plenty of options for any kind of traveller! There are comfy dorms, elaborate private rooms, and a great mix of traditional and modern lounge spaces. The best hostels in Chiang Mai offer outdoor patio spaces, decadent pools, free breakfasts, and events throughout your stay! Keep a look out for a Chiang Mai hostel with free Thai cooking classes as a bonus.

You could spend your entire time in Chiang Mai indulging in mind-blowing Thai street food, walking through markets, and wandering around from temple to temple. Songathaew is a common, easy, and affordable way to travel around Chiang Mai. Simply tell the driver where you’d like to go and hop in if they’re heading in that direction! Taxis are also available but not as easily accessible as they are generally waiting around the airport or bus/train stations, but you can always use a ride sharing service! Public transit isn’t overly popular but there are a couple routes that are very affordable. Of course, there are the classic Thai Tuk-Tuks to help you get around too, they’re slightly more expensive than a Songathaew but easy to find. Don’t shy away from renting a bike or walking to be fully immersed in Chiang Mai as you travel around.
