Tucked just steps from the beach in El Tunco, Hotel Pupa is a boutique-style social hostel built for travelers who come for the waves and stay for the vibe. With two towering palms at the heart of the property, we blend laid-back surf energy with boho-chic design and modern comforts. We are finishing up some renovations so please be advised.

Enjoy our newly tiled pool, nice new bunk dorms, two communal kitchens, a yoga deck, outdoor showers, and TV room. Chill out during the week, then dive into the weekend with potential pool parties and evening DJ sets.

Hotel Pupa Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 24hs before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hostel is still developing and it has potential to become a great hostel. The dorms were great, good beds and bathroom inside the dorm. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool, the pool could use some more cleaning though. Overall a nice hostel with potential!

I visited this hostel the day after it opened and had a lovely time. Everyday there was a new improvement and Justin, one of the co-owners, had a clear and exciting vision for his hostel which I have full faith he will deliver.

Love our stay. Great pool and vibe at the hostel. Hostel owner was fantastic and really cares for the place. Hostel is just opening so a few things they were working on. I would recommend private rooms to include a towel and somewhere to hang it. Apart from this 10/10 stay!
