The capsule beds were very interesting looking but actually nice. The location is great, you can walk over from the train station. It wasn’t a really social atmosphere as there was not really a nice place to sit and meet people. The showers were amazing and hot! The staff was nice but didn’t spoke English so they couldn’t help with figuring out busses/trains or places to eat.

Unfortunately due to corona this hostel is moved to another location. The pictures which are used are from te old location. The new location is significantly less nice. The lady who runs the hostel is friendly and helpful but the pictures don't meet the expectations.

It was a really nice stay in Buton guesthouse. We were one of the first foreign tourists to stay here since covid and they were very nice and excited to have us. We were very satisfied with our stay and the tour organized through the hostel. Only thing is that they moved to a different location during covid and some of the pictures and services are not the same. There is for example not a large common space and we did not get breakfast.
