The property is right off the beach which is stunning and super easy. 2 main issues, some of the staff are super rude, I had a horrible experience with one particular bartender on the first night that I stayed their being accused of stealing, and his grudge held for the rest of my trip. The bathrooms are also not really the cleanest. The nights at Cocori are amazing and the atmosphere is sick. I dont want my bad experiences to make this seem like a bad place to stay because it is truly a wonderful place to

The most stunning hostel, it’s absolutely beautiful. The girls dorm was brilliant & with aircon, albeit we did get a couple of storms that took the power out for the whole town at night. The food in EP is more expensive than elsewhere in Guatemala but Cocori is in line with the towns pricing. A kitchen would be good. I’d read it’s not great for solo travellers, as long as stay in line with the social events (boat party/ beer pong) it was really good. Definitely padel board in the mangroves too!
