No frills, laidback hostel close to the beach. I couldn’t ask for more. The workers and guests were kind and social. The bed was harder than I'm used to, but I slept great. There were curtains, so it’s perfect when you need your afternoon nap. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. In my room, there were limited outlets. I didn’t have an outlet near my bed. I didn’t need one, as I was trying to be offline as much as possible, but I'm adding to let people know to be prepared. Matala Hostel was my favorite

I have nothing but love for this place and its people. Balcony for the rooms, curtains for the beds, fully-facilitated kitchen, great priced bar, comfy and spacious common area, incredibly convenient pool, and nothing but relaxed, happy vibes. There is plenty of restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away as well as stunning beaches and hikes (I recommend seeing the sunset from the cliffs!)A beautiful location, beautiful hostel, beautiful hospitality, couldn't have asked for anything more (:
