Located on the Caribbean Coast, in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, at an altitude of 1,000 meters in the heights of Minca, Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge is the ideal place for those seeking immersion and relaxation in nature, recharging with spectacular views, blooming gardens, surrounded by birds, and a variety of activities. The temperature is 10°C cooler than on the coast.
This charming hotel, featuring refined Colombian artisan décor, overlooks the Caribbean Sea, offering breathtaking sunsets. Mundo Nuevo is not just a lodge in the middle of the jungle; it is also a self-sufficiency project. It has a coffee farm, whose coffee you will enjoy at breakfast, as well as avocado, mango, and lemon trees, among many other fruits available in season. Additionally, there is an organic garden that we highly recommend visiting, where you can take part in the famous "Farm to Table" tour.
Many activities are available directly from the hotel, such as:
Birdwatching tour (6-8 am)
Visit to the indigenous Wiwa village
The “Farm to Table” experience, which includes a tour of the organic garden, explanations about permaculture, endemic bees (Angelita bees), a honey tasting, and a delicious vegan lunch made with seasonal garden products
