Amazing! I solo traveled as a female, it was super clean and safe. Rooms are big, they have lockers inside of rooms which was huge bonus for me and the best part is it’s 15 mins. walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. So much to do around the hostel too. Definitely recommended.

The rooms were VERY nice and clean --- it was two beds in one room even though I booked a dorm and the rooms were very clean. However, this hostel has the strangest rules (of which there are MANY) and nickel and dimes you for EVERYTHING. Luggage storage after check-out alone was so, so steep, at €5 PER BAG and the late check-out fee is €20. Also, there is no wifi or internet in literally the majority of the building (including in the rooms themselves) and the staff was polite but generally unhelpful. The no wifi was pretty bad -- staff just said it happened sometimes and that's what occurs, which sure, I can understand internet problems, but why on earth advertise free wifi if you know it doesn't work? If you had a job/schoolwork to get done, it'd be a nightmare.

The Metro in Rome consists of only two lines, so it’s worth getting familiar with the buses if you want to avoid walking everywhere in the city. You can buy tickets from newsstands, tobacco shops and automated ticket vending machines at most Metro stations and a few larger bus stops.
